Exhibition Overview
Dates & Venue:
June 19-23, 2024, at Mt Coot-tha Botanic Gardens Auditorium, Brisbane.
Opening Night:
June 21, 2024, from 6:30 – 8:00 pm (announcement of winners).
Entry Period:
March 1 to June 2, 2024.
Entry Categories & Options
Exhibition (E)
Framed works for in-person display.
Online (O):
High-resolution image submissions displayed digitally during the event.
Conditions for Entry
Medium:
Works must be at least 75% soft pastel.
Originality:
All pieces must be original and created within the last two years.
Membership Requirement:
PSA members may submit up to three entries, non-members can submit one.
Alexandra Awards:
Open only to PSA members who have not previously won first prize in any pastel competition.
Fees & Submissions
Members:
$25 per entry, up to three submissions.
Non-Members:
$60 for one entry, with the option to join PSA.
Prizes & Judging
Separate prize schedules for Exhibition, Online entries, and Alexandra Awards.
Judging by experienced art professionals.

Sales & Commission
All displayed works are for sale with a 30% commission going to PSA.
