About the Demo:
Plan Smarter, Paint Freer: The Modern Painter’s Toolkit
Petronella van Leusden presents a focused demonstration on using technology to support and strengthen the painting process.
This practical session explores a selection of apps and tools—including Notaniser, SeeValue, DrawingGrids, Procreate, and ImageSize—and how they can be applied to:
• simplify and clarify composition
• check and refine values
• transfer drawings accurately
• merge two photos into one reference image
• test ideas before beginning a final work
The demonstration also includes guidance on navigating the Pastel Society’s website and joining Zoom meetings, helping artists stay connected and engaged.

Time: 2:00 PM arrival for a 2:30 PM start (until 4:30 PM)
