Brisbane Christmas Paint Around

About The Demo:

We’ll have a Paint Around with Louise Corke, Penelope Gilbert-Ng, Karen Christiansen and Mark Lawrence, where each pastellist begins their own artwork for ten minutes, then passes it around through the other three artists to spend five minutes painting with each, until the painting ends up with the original artists. Come along to enjoy the fun and reactions of the artists to what each successive painter has done with their work, before they have a ten-minute window to resurrect and finalise the painting - good-natured heckling welcome!

(Note to participating artists - bring an easel, board with the reference photo attached for display, towel or other cover for both the floor and table, and your pastels.)

As well as your pastel artwork, if you’re participating,

·       a small plate of goodies to share- something Christmassy would be great!

·       some clean Christmas jokes.

·       $5 entry for all - friends, family, carers, drivers warmly welcomed.

Please come along (whether with plate or not) and take this opportunity to thank our volunteers and wish each other a safe and happy Christmas. Enjoy some laughs and chat with all our pastel-loving fellow members and guests.
