About The Demo:
Tricia Reust: Basic Considerations for Abstracts
Join Master Pastellist Tricia Reust for an informative and practical demonstration exploring some of the basic considerations when creating abstract artwork in pastel.
Tricia will discuss how design and composition can influence an abstract work, along with the importance of colour, texture and shape in creating a strong and engaging image.
Through demonstrations and discussion, she will show how these elements can be used individually and together to develop an abstract artwork, and how simple changes can affect the overall balance, movement and impact of a piece.
This demonstration is suitable for artists of all experience levels and is a great opportunity to explore a more abstract approach to pastel and gain ideas you can apply to your own work.
