About the Demo:
Susan Kuznitsky — Shapes & Colours
This program is made possible through the combined efforts of the Pastel Society of Australia, Pastel Society of Victoria, and The Colour Circle, collaborating to bring high-quality pastel events across Australia.
Online Zoom Demonstration
Join internationally acclaimed artist Susan Kuznitsky for an engaging online demonstration focused on the powerful relationship between shapes and colour in pastel painting.
In this session, Susan will show how to use bold colour choices and strong shape design to create dynamic, expressive compositions. Learn how simplifying complex subjects into clear shapes can strengthen your paintings, improve visual impact, and help guide the viewer’s eye.
This demonstration is ideal for artists looking to loosen up their work, gain confidence with colour, and develop a stronger sense of design — whether you paint landscapes, figures, or abstract-inspired compositions.
