Welcome to the Australian Pastel Tour with internationally recognised artist and educator Susan Kuznitsky.

This special multi-city program of demonstrations, workshops, and online events is being presented as a collaborative national initiative between:

Pastel Society of Australia (PSA)
Pastel Society of Victoria, Australia (PSVA)
The Colour Circle, Hobart, Tasmania

Together, these organisations are bringing Susan’s teaching program to artists across multiple regions of Australia through coordinated events and local hosting.

Artists will have the opportunity to learn directly from Susan’s decades of professional painting and teaching experience through practical, inspiring sessions focused on light, atmosphere, and expressive pastel technique.

About Susan Kuznitsky

Susan Kuznitsky is an internationally recognised artist and educator whose career spans decades of professional painting and teaching across the USA and internationally.

Born in Chicago, Susan trained at the American Academy of Art before establishing a successful career as a professional portrait artist. Her artistic development was deeply influenced by Master Artist Albert Handell, helping shape her technical mastery in pastel and oils as well as her highly regarded teaching approach.

Susan believes painting is a language of its own — one that communicates beauty, mood, and meaning beyond words.
